Maldives Marks 100,000 Tourist Arrivals

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) along with Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), Maldives Immigration and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), has released a joint press statement marking the arrival of the 100,000th tourist into the Maldives since the reopening of the Maldives borders.The Minister of Tourism, Honorable Dr. Abdulla Mausoom highlighted the hard work of the tourism industry employees and stakeholders in achieving this milestone and stated that this achievement is a great contribution to the post-pandemic recovery of the tourism industry.Furthermore, it is predicted that 500,000 tourists will arrive by the end of 2020, with the Maldives reaching peak tourist arrival rates throughout 2021.For the joint press release: https://bit.ly/3qQAY8b
