New Investment Opportunity in Maldives Tourism

Through their social media, the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has announced that they are looking for a new investor to develop Ihavandhippolhu atoll which is the northern-most atoll in the Maldives.The development project is advertised focusing on easy travelling within the atoll since Ihavandhippolhu atoll is 50 minutes from Hanimaadhoo International Airport. Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Fayyaz Ismail had also previously stated that the Maldives government is having discussions with potential foreign investors to develop a transshipment port in the atoll.The investment opportunity for the development project of Ihavandhippolhu atoll will be officially open on 4 October 2020.
