Increase in Resorts set to Reopen

In an interview with Globetrender Magazine, Thoyyib Mohamed, Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has stated that by the end of October of this year the number of resorts being reopened is estimated to increase by 94 percent.This means that out of the currently operating 156 resorts, 146 resorts will be reopened.Since the reopening of the Maldives borders from 15 July, many resorts have already reopened and a total of 29 resorts is set to reopen within this month itself.
