Covid-19: TMA Gears Up To Recommence Operations

As Maldives has slowly started easing implemented lockdown measures and travel restrictions, the reopening of borders for international arrivals in July 2020 has been announced.

Trans Maldivian Airways has confirmed that preparations are afoot to recommence flight operations in July while adhering to “leading industry wide safety & hygiene norms and IATA proposed standards”.

TMA had temporarily halted operations following the government’s decision to close borders to diminish the impact of COVID-19 in the country.
