Covid-19: Publication of Guideline for Income Support Allowance

The President's Office has published the Guideline for Income Support Allowance on the Gazette.The Guideline allows income support to be granted to Maldivians who's income has been affected due to Covid-19 and includes employees who have been made redundant, employees with pay cuts or sent for no pay leave, as well as local freelancers.The Government will be providing support allowances for the months of April, May and June and application can be made through the Ministry of Economic Development's (MED) https://jobcenter.mv/ portal.
