Covid-19: MVR 675 to be Charged for Tests by ADK

Spokesperson of National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) Mohamed Mabrook Azeez stated that ADK Hospital is going to charge MVR 675 for each Covid-19 test.

He also stated that as ADK is a private hospital they will be charging for tests, however IGMH will continue doing free tests.

Mabrook clarified that although ADK is applying a charge for the test, the public isn’t authorised to acquire the service from the hospital independently. Therefore, ADK will be charging for samples provided by NEOC and the public does not have pay ADK for the tests.
