Covid-19: Government Expenditure on Covid-19 Increases to MVR 892 Million

According to the Ministry of Finance, government expenditure on efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 has increased to MVR 892.3 million, which is a 2.9% rise in comparison to the previous week’s figure.

The majority of last week’s spending was made by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and IGM Hospital, stated the Ministry.

NDMA spent MVR 584.4 million while IGM Hospital has spent MVR 141.1 million.
