Covid-19: Business Hours Set From 9am To 9pm

Maldives Police Services has announced that business operating hours in the Greater Malé Region will now be from 9am to 9pm daily, under Phase 1 of the government’s measures to ease the lockdown.

Via a virtual press conference, Assistant Police Commissioner Abdullah Fairoosh stated that the rule would be applicable to all the businesses including businesses providing delivery and take-out services.

The Police Services also informed that the businesses that fail to follow these regulations will have their permits revoked.
