Seaplane Operations Between Addu and Huvadhu

On Saturday, execution of an agreement between Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) and Addu International Airport Private Limited took place, commencing seaplane operations between Addu City and Huvadhu atoll.The commencement of seaplane operations between these two atolls is perceived by both the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) and Ministry of Economic Development (MED) to significantly contribute to the development of the tourism and economic sector within these atolls. Moreover, this will also make traveling easy, generating more business opportunities between the two atolls.In addition to this, discussions are ongoing between MED and IASL regarding seaplane operations between Addu City and Fuvahmulah City as well.
