Maldives to Reopen its Borders

The President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has announced that the Maldives will be reopening its borders on 15 July.Ministry of Tourism has also published a Guideline for restarting tourism in the Maldives, setting out the standard requirements which have to be met by all tourist establishments before commencing their operations.Along with the Guideline, the Ministry has also issued two circulars to all tourist establishments concerning the commencement of tourism and re-hiring employees who were made redundant or laid-off due to the pandemic. For the Guideline: https://bit.ly/3eumO68For Circular 1: https://bit.ly/3eun312For Circular 2: https://bit.ly/2Nme9H3
