Maldives Partakes In Commonwealth Tourism Webinar

The Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed and the Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed took part in the tourism webinar held today by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.The main topic of discussion consisted of the immediate responses and future opportunities within Commonwealth Tourism amid the Covid-19 lockdown. Further areas which was addressed covers the impact this pandemic has had on tourism in Small Island States and the response by the Maldives tourism industry to the pandemic.
