Covid-19: VISA Fines Waived Until June

Immigration has announced that fines on VISA expiries from March 19th to June have been waived.

They stated that this decision was made recognising the difficulties faced due to the Covid-19 related lockdown in the Greater Malé region, and government offices being closed since 19th March 2020.
