Covid-19: Business Permits Provision Reassigned to Maldives Police Service

In a press conference, Registrar of Companies of Economic Ministry, Mariyam Visam states that those who want to take initial business permits shall request for it through the police portal from 6th June onwards.

Permits for service-based business such as shops and delivery services were previously requested to Male’ Council, however, it is now being handled by the police. Visam instructed those whose business permit requests have yet to be processed, to share their details with the police.
