Maldives Enters Third Phase of Lifting the Lockdown

From today on wards, Maldives has entered the third phase of opening its economy with new measures for easing the lockdown. Under the third phase, Government has decided to reopen its offices and permitted businesses to restart their operations. The President’s Office will be announcing the official working hours of Government offices and institutions during this phase.

However, both private and Government offices and institutions should follow the Guideline of Workplace Safety and businesses should follow the relevant guidelines provided by Health Protection Agency.

Along with these measures, travel restrictions between islands with no confirmed or suspected cases of Covid-19 have been lifted as well.
